Crossroads is the organization that hosted us in the DR. The founder, Jana Amelingmeier, and her family live in a beautiful compound up in the mountains. I didn't take too many photos, as the beauty was so majestic and all encompassing that I couldn't see any way I could do it justice with the limited abilities of my camera. It is even more difficult to describe in words, but in the words of their daughters- they live in a "Swiss Family Robinson type" house. It is literally built into and from the environment around it. It is natural. It is beautiful. It is peaceful. It is spiritual. It is Shalom.....
